Deleting your data from Build Automate Grow

The Build Automate Grow app is run by Build Automate Grow, LLC. This page explains how to have us delete the Instagram data we hold about you. What we hold is described in our Privacy Policy.
If you connected your Instagram account to Build Automate Grow
Any of these works:
- In Build Automate Grow: on the Accounts page, click Disconnect.
- From Instagram: open Instagram → Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites → find Build Automate Grow → Remove. Instagram tells us automatically. (Menu names can differ between versions of the Instagram app.)
- By email: write to phil@buildautomategrow.com from any address, with your Instagram username, and ask us to delete your data.
We then delete your access token, your account record, your rules, your scheduled and published post records, and
the comments, messages and contact records we hold for your account: at once for the first two, and within 30 days for
an email. We keep only a hashed opt-out record for each person who replied STOP to your account (a one-way hash of
their Instagram ID, nothing else), so that we never message them again if the account is ever reconnected. You get a confirmation code, and you can check its status at
/data-deletion/status?code=<your code> on this site.
Deleting from us does not delete anything on Instagram itself (your posts, comments and messages stay on Instagram), and does not delete copies you exported yourself.
If you commented on, or messaged, an account that uses Build Automate Grow
- To stop automatic messages from that account: reply STOP in the chat.
- To have us delete what we hold about you (your Instagram ID, username, comments and messages to that account): email phil@buildautomategrow.com with your Instagram username and the account you interacted with. We delete it within 30 days and confirm by email. If you said STOP, we keep only a hashed opt-out record (a one-way hash of your Instagram ID, nothing else), so that we never message you again.
